Statement of purpose
Culture and the arts are a universal light that effortlessly transcends language, national borders and all forms of division, stirring our very souls. They possess the true power to heal people’s loneliness and resolve societal challenges.
We at MMCO were founded on the principle of ‘Chimokugyosoku’, ‘the eyes of wisdom, the feet of practice’. With ‘Mind’—the profound wisdom that discerns the truth of beauty—as our eyes, and ‘Move’—the overwhelming action that brings this to life on the world stage—as our feet, we use these two driving forces to fuse and clash classical and contemporary cultures, guiding society towards greater richness through the highest artistic expression.
We will break down established barriers and build a vibrant creative network linking the global heartlands of Tokyo, London and New York. By exchanging ideas with world-class artists and producing innovative works, we will actively involve young talents—the future generation—as key participants in this demanding creative process.
Taking the world as our stage and flying the flag of social contribution, we will continue to pursue our mission with passion, striving for a sustainable future where everyone can be moved by beauty and live a spiritually fulfilling life.
